The Assassin Prince, or Pink Archer, is heir to the throne of the desert kingdom Mirage. He travels the world of TowerFall seeking glory and riches and is known for his overly confident attitude. It is not yet clear how he earned the title of Assassin.
History
The Assassin Prince enjoyed his life of luxury as the heir to the thrown of Mirage, unaware that even the remote desert kingdom was about to be sent into turmoil as a result of the darkness that was falling upon TowerFall. When the Moonstone fell from the sky it landed in Mirage, destroying much of the kingdom and throwing the rest into anarchy. The Pink archer set out hoping to find those responsible and restore order to Mirage and the rest of TowerFall.
Development
The Assassin Prince was the third archer added to the game in the original TowerFall release and follows the trend set by the blue archer of inverting the gendered color coding of blue and pink. Later in development a hidden alternate version of the Assassin Prince was added with blue hair referencing the reigning TowerFall champion Kyle Pulver. The hidden alternate also has corresponding win and loss portraits and a victory tune. It can be selected by holding the Left Trigger button when selecting the Assassin Prince.

Fate has not been kind to our Assassin Prince. Much of his desert kingdom was obliterated by the plummeting Moonstone, and his royal father was soon overthrown in the ensuing uprising. The prince returned home to win back the throne, but suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the usurper. He was robbed of his eyesight and left to crawl away, humiliated. The Alternate Pink Archer is the Blind Prince.
